Prof. h.c. Dr. med. Evaldas Cesnulis is a recognised specialist in Neurochirurgery with extensive international experience. Holding a Professorship honoris causa and certifications in Neurochirurgy from both the FMH and EANS/UEMS, he has built a remarkable career spanning over two decades.

After completing his medical training in Lithuania, Prof. Cesnulis specialized in Neurochirurgy at institutions like the University Hospital Vilnius, Kantonsspital Aarau, and Kantonsspital Winterthur, followed by a senior physician role at the University Hospital Zürich (2005–2008). He also led the interdisciplinary Neurotrauma Team at the same hospital from 2007 to 2008.

In 2009, Prof. Cesnulis founded his own private Neurosurgery practice and became a partner at Neurochirurgie Hirslanden Zürich. He is also a co-founder of the Swiss Neuro Institute.

Alongside his clinical career, Prof. Cesnulis has made significant academic contributions, with over 70 scientific publications and a longstanding commitment to teaching. He regularly holds Master Classes on cranial microsurgery and serves as a lecturer for global organizations like the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.

Prof. Cesnulis brings his exceptional expertise to telemedicine, providing advanced neurochirurgical care to patients remotely, making his knowledge and skills more accessible worldwide. His areas of specialization include the treatment of aneurysms and the therapy of brain and spinal cord tumors such as gliomas, neuromas, and meningiomas.
