Dr. Meisam Lund, a Swedish-Board-Certified Surgeon with a distinguished career spanning over a decade, brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to health care. Educated in Sweden and Poland, Dr. Meisam has honed his skills in some of Sweden's premier hospitals and has been an integral part of the medical landscape in northern Sweden. He brings with him over a decade of wide-ranging experience in minimally invasive surgeries and is up to date with training in robotic surgery. His dedication to advancing surgical practices is evident in his proficiency with a state-of-the-art abdominal closure method, recognised as one of the safest globally and taught internationally under his guidance.

Dr. Meisam’s commitment to education extends beyond the operating room, as demonstrated by his role as an instructor for trauma simulations, contributing significantly to the enhancement of regional trauma care. Moreover, his study, 'Fundus First as the Standard Technique for Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy,' reflects his commitment to research and advancing surgical methodologies. Dr. Meisam holds fellowships in trauma care from around the world and was selected for two international deployments as a field surgeon with the Swedish Armed Forces, underlining his commitment to excellence in emergency medical situations. His on-call record, clocking an unprecedented 2156 hours, garnered attention in national news, emphasising his unwavering dedication to patient care. Dr. Meisam’s philosophy is to be guided by research, grounded in evidence, while rooted in the patient's well-being, where the patient always remains the focal point of medical care.
