Univ. Prof. Dr. Shahrokh Shariat is a head of the University Department of Urology at Vienna General Hospital. Here he has been treating and operating on patients with special issues and also severe, complex diseases since 2013. At the Clinic for Urology, people with prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular and penile cancer, with kidney and ureteral stones, benign prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction, and andrological problems are treated according to the latest knowledge and guidelines. Univ. Prof. Dr. Shariat has been researching and publishing his findings in the field of urological oncology since 1997, especially on the forms and effects of bladder cancer and prostate cancer.

Univ. Prof. Dr. Shahrokh Shariat is a certified diplomat of the American Board of Urology and is involved with the current guidelines within urology that apply to all urology centers in Europe and worldwide. He is passionately committed to his patients, to good education of the upcoming medical profession and to high quality science.

Prof. Shariat holds 4 patents on bladder and prostate cancer.
