Trained at leading medical centers in Europe and the United States. Fredi Aviv received his medical education at the State Medical Institute, Azerbaijan.

After that he improved his qualification in an Israeli university, namely, he specialized in oncohematology and hematology, as well as in the treatment of internal diseases.

He also specialized in internal medicine and then in hematology and bone marrow transplantation at the Ichilov Medical Center.

In addition, the doctor specialized in Bristol, UK and Vienna, Austria in lymphoproliferative diseases and hemofiltration and stem cell harvesting.
