Professor Zvi Ram's clinical experience exceeds more than 30 years, not counting his 5 years of service in the Israel Defense Forces as a medical officer. Today, the professor is one of the most recognized authorities in the field of Israeli neurosurgery, an internationally recognized expert in minimally invasive and complex operations for the removal of brain and pituitary tumors (including nasal access surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery), treatment of aneurysms and other cerebral vascular pathologies, an expert in complex brain tumor surgery, including awake brain tumors, treatment of hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, dystonia and other motor dysfunctions. After 6 years of training at the Sheba Medical Center (Tel Hashomer, Israel), Zvi Ram received a certificate of a certified neurosurgeon in 1991, Tzvi Ram interned in the United States for 3 years. After returning to Israel, he worked as a senior neurosurgeon for 5 years, then for 4 years held the position of deputy head of the neurosurgical department, and in 2003 he became head of the department and holds this position to this day. Professor Ram has saved hundreds of lives and returned thousands of patients to their normal lives. He is also a renowned scientist, author of more than 120 scientific papers that have made a significant contribution to the development of Israeli neurosurgery.
