Prescriptions issued by doctors based in European countries such as Austria, Germany and Switzerland are valid within the European Union. Doctors licensed in the United Arab Emirates can issue prescriptions valid within the UAE. Similarly, Israeli doctors issue prescriptions valid in Israel, and Indian doctors issue prescriptions valid within India.

If you consult with a doctor who is not licensed in your country of residence, the prescription may not be accepted locally. In such cases, you may present the prescription to a local doctor, who can decide whether to issue a valid local version based on the original recommendation. However, there is no guarantee that local healthcare providers will accept or rewrite the prescription, as it ultimately depends on local laws and medical discretion.
