Dr. med. Christof Bollmann is an experienced consultant in Hand Surgery and Orthopaedic Trauma, specializing in the treatment of complex fractures, joint deformities, and degenerative conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremities. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has gained expertise in both conservative and surgical treatments, including the correction of distal radius/ulna fractures, malunion corrections using personalized 3D guides, and thumb saddle joint prosthesis for arthritis.
In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Bollmann has specialized knowledge in managing conditions like Kienböck’s disease, offering both reconstructive and vascular treatments tailored to the disease’s stage. He also specializes in distal biceps tendon reinsertion and the treatment of various hand and wrist arthroses.
Dr. Bollmann completed his fellowship in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery in Brisbane, Australia, further expanding his international experience. He is board-certified in Hand Surgery (FMH) and Orthopaedics & Traumatology (FMH), and has held leadership positions in prestigious hospitals, including the CHUV and Klinik Longeraie in Lausanne.
Fluent in French, German, and English, Dr. Bollmann is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care through both in-person and telemedicine consultations.
